(4 out of 5 stars)

"Rahsaan Roland Kirk's volume in Verve's Jazz Masters series is a good sampler of his music taken from many of his best LPs for Mercury in the `60s. Fans will want the full albums, but beginners could start here. Only track #6 would be of particular interest to hardcore collectors.

A five star collection, that rates 4 stars next to any of these full albums.
