"I've been searching for "15 Step" for a long time. Luckily, Direct TV showed a studio Session for In Rainbows & I knew this was THE Radio Head CD for me. It's got some really great, haunting songs & I can't get enouogh of it!"

"There's so many good reviews here regarding this release. I've had it since its release and still enjoy it immensely. I'm posting this review b/c I just listened to it in its entirety via headphones and it just got better. There's so much more info, it's almost like a re-release. If you appreciate sonically intricate recordings, this, as well as most Radiohead releases is a complete joy to hear w/ some cans on your ears. This record stands out, however, in that there's not as much extra digital noise tracks that these guys pepper their records with, which I often find bothersome. So I'll rank it near the top, just behind the OK Computer masterpiece."

"In Rainbows overjoyed me. Radiohead have found a way of maturing their music. They have found a new and exquisite sound to develop. That sound is hard to describe. It's warm, interesting and super-catchy. The instrumentation varies a lot and can be sophisticated or raw, depending on what's needed. Notable is the track "Nude", a ten-year old track that spawned from their OK Computer tour but first fully formed here. The end result is nothing like the one fans heard on "Meeting People is Easy". It demonstrates Thom Yorke's immense control over and emotion in his voice. The setlist is some 10 tracks, and all are wonderful.

By this point, Radiohead's contract with Parlophone had expired, so In Rainbows was first available for download through their website, offering their fans to pay the price they wished, from 0 and up. In Rainbows lived a long life before XL Recordings picked it up at the end of 2007 (the band even allowed fans to follow up on its progress through their YouTube channel), and by then it had established itself as another album to reach its justified status by means of the internet rather than the industry. Kid A had done this to some degree, but In Rainbows completed the circle.

The music on In Rainbows is a delightful listen, so sophisticated and pleasant, so characteristic and full of heart. Bravo."
