"Ah Racer X. 'Tis the kings of rock. Man, I love these guys. Heavy Metal to their bones. And this album is no Exception. Getting Heavier is an awesome aray of pure musical Genius. This is the album where singer Jeff Martin shines. His singing is incredible. Scott Travis' drum playing is as masterful as ever. John Alderete's fuzz bass is awesome. And of course, Paul Gilbert's solos are amazing. This album is Racer X at their musical best. And although some will argue the album is more "radio friendly" than "headbanging", it doesn't matter, because this album as everything for every musical taste. Even my Mom likes it!!!"
