"I first heard Quadro Nuevo on a jazz station from Toronto Canada. The station must play a certain amount of Canadian content and I guess a couple of the tunes on an album that is not on Amazon have meaning to French Canadians. I especially love this CD because my father is an accordion player and it reminds me of some of the stuff he liked to play when I was younger. Most of the music on this CD has a thick French film noir feeling to it. Makes you sort of feel like putting on an ascot and enjoying a merlot. I recommend this music to anyone who enjoys music that may be considered a conversation piece, if you leave out coffee table books to impress your friends you might also like this music, or if you are just sick of the junk that you normally hear of you local top 40 hits radio station, then you should definitely pick up this CD."

"I heard Quadro Nuevo on National Public Radio and had to find them immediately! For all lovers of world music and more...I played this at a get together of friends and we all danced merrily and unexpectedly in the living room for the whole length of the CD and then wanted MORE...so I got out Luna Rosa (another of Quadro Nuevo's albums)."
