Synopsis

Product Description
In the '80s, English folk-rock band Pyewackett hit the European folkscene. They played traditional music by the motto 'pop music from the last five centuries'. A cappella harmonies, 15th century Italian dances, traditional songs in minimalist settings, 1920s ballads...and more. Their distinctive sound was characterized by the unusual combination of woodwinds, strings and keyboards. The voices were a strong trademark, too. All these features of the Pyewackett sounds are shown best on this, their second album, now proudly rereleased in Fréa Records' Folk Classics series.
