"Puny Human rock! So hard! This album is great from start to finish. It has its own unique sound and is loaded with, dare I say it, great songs. Most heavy albums forget that being heavy is the easy part, the songs are what makes a record great. In "It's Not The Heat, It's The Humanity," Puny Human remind me of bands like black sabbath, grand funk, and devo. The record was beautifuly produced by J. Younger(formerly of white zombie). Seems to be another great release from smallstone records out of detriot, one of the last independent heavy lables around. Keep you eyes peeled for the new Five Horse Johnson(awesome blues rock) disc, as well as the new Throttlerod(pure southern rock) coming out on smallstone in the near future. No, I don't work for the lable, just a big fan of the bands and trying to spread the word."

"If you want to rock the first time you hear a new album versus waiting a few times to "break it in", this is for you. Produced by J Yuenger (from White Zombie) It's Not The Heat, It's The Humanity is a wicked car chase between mad motor freaks and the women who stole their cash down old gravel roads through towns once forgotten now awakened. BA-DONG!"

"Great Great stuff. They focus on the riff. Great riffs. You don't here bands throwing out riffs left and right like this anymore (you gotta go way back). Kinda sound like Tommy Ionni with White Zombies percussion section, and a full throated voice as well. Excellent album. No filler. I hope they're future is fulfilling & lucrative. We need more bands like Puny Human (Five Horse Johnson too), and soon."
