One of my all time favorites!

"I bought this album in 1995 because I liked the cover art, and had seen the Kozik poster of "Feel Nice". It ended up becoming one of my all time favorites. I never got to see them play live, which is a shame. Their music is pretty grungy, featuring loud, sludgy guitars and lots of echo. They have a sort of countryish vibe to their songwriting that's actually rather soothing though. Imagine the Screaming Trees meets Jonathan Richman. They even cover the Modern Lovers' "I'm Straight", and its one of the best cover versions ever!

On a side note, I think the singer and guitar player went and formed a new band, The Pearly Gates, which plays in and around Philly or something."
