CD Reviews

THE CHILD DEVIANT
CRAZOTOLOGY | Joplin, MO. (USA) | 12/06/2006

"This album is so good that it will will melt your face off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not only the best album by Psyclon Nine, but also one of the best albums in my eccentric CD collection that has over 10000 CD's in it!!! The music on this album is best described as Death Industrial/Dark Electro. Every song rings your bell..starting with the tittle track-'INRI', you are immediately excited about the music, the second track, 'Behind A Serrated Grin' keeps your interrest....let's just say that by the fourth track, 'Lamb Of God" you realize that you are listening to something that you will cherrish forever!!! An absolute classic as far as this particulur genre of music is conscerned."
Hard industrial

"This is a great harsh industrial album with dark religious lyrics, and heavy beats that just will not stop. If you are into this type of music, then do not hesitate to buy this album. It's worth every penny."
The vocals are an acquired taste, but this is really good

"The first time I heard Psyclon Nine, I hated Ner0's vocals. I remember thinking he sounded like a possessed chipmunk. However, I kept coming back to it, and that sound grew on me eventually. I found it helpful to have a "point of entry", by which I mean one song that wasn't quite as screechy as the others I'd heard but that made the rest grow on me as well. That track was "Harlot", which is probably still my favorite P9 song. I liked this one because it had some lower-pitched, more death-growl styled vocals to offset the really high-pitched parts. After a while I got used to the high-pitched stuff and started liking the rest of the album. This album is good, solid death-industrial, or terror ebm or whatever you want to call it. It's dark, heavy, and will scare your more straitlaced friends and acquaintances out of their wits. What's not to like about that?"
