"While I thought that the original soundtrack to "The Protector (original title "Tom-Yum-Goong") was decent, the RZA did even better. Their music definitely helped to sway emotions in the movie and make it tense. The RZA is very versatile too, in the way that they did orchestra, rock, and rap as well. Great job RZA! What made it so much better than the original soundtrack was that it was far less repetitive also."
RZA did it again!!! An excellent soundrack.

"The music for the original Thai release of the film was written by a quartet of local composers - Zomkiat Aritachaipanich, Umpan Charoensukrap, Jadet Chawang, Sasis Milindavanu and Payont Permsith - U.S. release of the film credits The RZA. Early on, there's some rather gorgeous Eastern-influenced music, presented in a sweeping and melodic western style. But during the movie's action scenes, the music runs from techno to rock to traditional orchestra/synth modern action music. Still, none of this is obtrusively irritating, and throughout the film features excellent music."
