CD Reviews

PROGRESSIVE D&B AT IT'S VERY FINEST
Sam Smith | York, UK | 01/28/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This CD is a must-buy. It combines the very best drum&bass tracks with flawless mixing and masterful MC'ing. Bukem & the Good Looking crew succeed yet again in bringing the best to the forefront, and anyone would be a fool to miss out. Check out the tracks from the Future Engineers and Voyager especially - both classics. The double MC'ing works a treat from Conrad and DRS, and the quality of the music would rip the roof from any d&b club. The rest in the series are equally brilliant, so get the lot. And do it now before they sell out!"
"Thats where the music takes me, too many zones to mention"

"I am a huge drum'n'bass fan, and this is one of my favorite albums. It has incredible tracks on it, and Conrad rocks the mic yet again. Pardon the cliche, but this is a must have for any drum'n'bass collection. All the other Progression Session albums are just as good, but this is by far my favorite. I really suggest owning it. It takes your mind to different levels, and allows you a chance to broaden your horizons. You might also want to check out the Logical Progression sets too, they are as equally well done. Hope you enjoy it, I sure did."

"this is just the best cd. if you like drum n bass, progressive dance music, or even if you like progressive hip hop, this is the sh*t! maybe if you don't like drum n bass, you will after hearing this. top notch production, awesome dj'ing and song selection, and sublime freestyle lyrical madness. i "sing" this stuff in the shower. it makes me happy to be alive. 'nuff said. after this, buy all the other ones too, they all rule: progression sessions with drs/blame, prog. sess. vol 2, vol. 1, Promised Land Vol. 1, you just can't get enuff. You're listening to the past, the present, and the future..."
