While Charming brings a subtle, ambient techno demeanor to his sonic collage of trip-hop, dub, and kaleidoscopic soul Muzak, the DJ-producer also injects a fair amount of drama into the proceedings. A layered and lush studio project that succeeds both as background music and as an avant-garde listening experience, Fantastic Voyage is a challenging head trip. BTW: Prince Charming stopped working with Philosophy Major AKA music critic Denis Desharnais in early 02. I have nothing to do with that dude. While Fantastic Voyage does include production work from Lovecraft Technologies (and a number of other musicians), it is a PRINCE CHARMING CD. Those looking for a Lovecraft Tech CD should search for a CD titled to LT."
