This is a similar project to Mad Professor's dub deconstruction of Massive Attack's Protection. This is actually a superior effort to No Protection. The mastermind on Echo Dek is Adrian Sherwood (the prolific dubmaster behind African Head Charge, Creation Rebel, and Dub Syndicate), not the Scream. He takes the original Vanishing Point tracks and guts them, leaves a select few vocal snippets, amps up the drums and bass... in true DUB style. Highlights include "Last Train" (version of the classic "Trainspotting"), and the thunderous "Wise Blood" featuring vocals by the mighty Prince Far I. In most cases, the new versions improve on the originals. No disrespect to Primal Scream fans, but they wouldn't amount to much without great producers."
