"Pride and Fall has been raising their own personal bar for a while now, finally completing the their third full-length album and doing so with a nice touch of EBM class. They've been one of those little bands with a little label that did a great job of being noticed, too, but their label (Dependent) is drying up and Pride and Fall might be going their way as well. That's the shame considering this newest piece of work is possibly one of their best and because I've grown to really like Pride and Fall.

Since their first release, Pride and Fall has been developing a sound and turning it into something they could call their own. In the beginning they were called a VNV Nation clone, unfairly so, but lately they've been heralded as their own little dominion. They still have the same type of beats they started out with, the same vocals that managed to get them noticed and that made them a great band, and the same standard of great tracks that make their albums worth picking up. It just seems like In My Time of Dying had finally managed to get everything in order, arranging all those elements into something really impressive.

Listening to Monsen, Waagen, and Johnsen had certainly been a good thing.

If you like the dancefloor EBM with something more that melodic undertones, you might want to give Pride and Fall a listen. They have continually kept the quality of their albums at a great level, have managed to keep themselves as a faceless type of band where their music does the talking, and create music that grows on you as you listen to the album a few times through.

If you want to judge that for yourself, you can go to Metropolis and listen to samples provided or go to the bands website.

Certainly worth the time."
