CD Reviews

Excellent Album!

"If you enjoy VNV Nation you will surely enjoy this artists work. The music tends to flow together as you listen to the cd although you will notice that some of the songs are very small and without lyrics making you wonder if you bought a cd with six songs on it. Past this point the six songs that are on this CD are very good and would recommend it to anyone. Note if your looking for a CD that is all good.. I probably couldn't recommend this to you personally."
If you are a fan of VNV Nation, you will love Pride And Fall

"With so many of the existing darkwave/EBM artists making the transition into synthpop as of lately, it's relieving to see a new band like Pride And Fall arise to carry the flame. Pride And Fall's debut album, Nephesh, is a truimphant return to the powerful and emotional electronic music industrial/ebm fans have been clamoring for...high bpm, melodic, cerebral vocals, and soothing all at the same time. I rank Nephesh right up there with VNV Nation's Praise The Fallen/Empires albums (which were widely considered to be some of the best the genre ever produced). Every song on here has massive potential as a club hit, but my favorites would have to be Inside, Paragon, December, and Construct. Out of the 10 tracks there are really only about 6 actual full songs (the rest are 1-2 minute bridge tracks), but the songs that are on there are so good it doesn't seem to matter. I need not say another word, if you are into any form of electronic music...buy this album. You will not be disappointed."
