"Released at a time when all the art-rock outfits were producing 'concept albums', with connected themes, instead of just collections of songs, this is one of the top 5. The writing is at times quite brilliant.
There's a new 2 CD version out, with the original disc and also a live recording from the late 80s (?) featuring Arthur Brown as the narrator, and David Gilmore on guitar and voice. Get it, you'll love it!
