CD Reviews

9 tracks of punk greatness

"As has been said, the Lawrence Arms tracks here are amazingly good. My personal favorite is "What Time is 'Pensecola, Wings of Gold' On Anyway?," but they're all really good. What has not been said is the amazingness of the Chinkees 5 songs here. They are all amazingly good, and they flow together like one song. Mike Park is amazing, Brendan Kelly is amazing, Lawrence Arms are amazing, the Chinkees are amazing, what's not to like?"
Definately worth the price

"I can't even lie, I'm not a Chinkees fan. At all (sorry Chinkees...) I haven't even listened to their tracks. But if you are a Lawrence Arms fan, this is definately worth having. Their sound production wise hasn't really changed from the great work on Ghost Stories, but their songwriting is somehow even better. Their lyrics on every song are great, and the structure is more advanced. Every kid stoked on the Alkaline Trio needs to get this, same idea, much better execution."
Must have for lawrence arms fans

"if you're a lawrence arms fan and you don't own this, i pity you. this disc only has four larry arms songs, but they're four of their best songs. "quincentuple your money" and "100 resolutions" are staples of the lawrence arms live show. not too sure about the chinkees, but the four lawrence arms tracks on this disc are truely fantastic. if you liked any of their full lengths, i urge you to buy this split and the shady view terrace/lawrence arms split. if the lawrence arms songs on each split were put together to make one album, it would easily be their best. done."
