Synopsis

Album Description
2008 release from the Michigan-based Post-Grunge rockers, who have built up a huge grass-roots fanbase since they formed in 2001. After eight years of funky bars, sleeping in cars and miles of highway leading to another strange city, Pop Evil has toured consistently since (and prior to) the release of Lipstick on the Mirror with a combination of headline dates and support with Puddle of Mudd, Tesla, Theory of a Deadman, P.O.D. and Saliva. 13 tracks.

fairly stereotypical lyrics of a post grunge rock band, and you can't help but feel that it's not what they want to do, especially when they pen a song as retro as "100 in a 55". if they followed that direction more than what the labels want they might do better.but not an awful debut

Great West Michigan Rock

"What a great CD and a fantastic band to see live. I highly recommend getting the whole CD, but if you don't get the entire CD, "Somebody Like You", "100 in a 55", "Hero", "Stepping Stone" and "Breathe" are musts."
Awesome Rock Album

"POP EVIL is real true sound of Rock. All songs are great, but my faves are 'Breathe,' 'Shinedown,' 'Hero,' and 'Another Romeo & Juliet.' I love the way 'Another Romeo & Juliet' starts with guitar playing. If you want a great rock album pick this one up. You won't be disappointed at all."
