"On November, 1950, world had lost an artist who can't be replaced. Dinu Lipatti had died in leukemia in the age of 33. Alfred Cortot, legendary pianist and teacher of Dinu Lipatti, writes in a letter to his friend: "I'll never get over this sadness. There was never anyone like him, and there never will be."
