As they are Baptists, I think that that does come out in the music, but not in an overt way. Those of you that listen to a lot of different kinds of rock will say things like, "Oh, this song reminds me of the Meat Puppets" or something similar, and as the songs are all original, one might be tempted to say "all this sounds the same."
The songs on this CD would be at home on a college radio station, take a listen to the Amazon samples and see if you like it. Also, there is a data track, where you can read lyrics, watch an interview, and see the music video. However, it's Mac compatible only." |
