2008 reissue of the vocal group's sophomore album, originally released in 1956. Just as Imperial Records were quick to capitalize on the success of Fats Domino, so Mercury ensured there was a regular Platters' release schedule to keep their new found fan base happy. The Platters Volume Two was issued barely six months after their first album and proved to be another major success, making the Top 20 in January 1957. Whilst hit singles did not reach the same giddy heights of their predecessors, the album still sold well enough to maintain their popularity. Hallmark.
