"The whole "Pickin' on" series is controversial, some of the records are better in musical quality, some are not so good, but all are BLUEGRASS! So if you are a hardcore fan of Eric Clapton and think the only Eric Clapton can do Eric Clapton songs, STAY AWAY FROM THIS RECORD. If you are a hardcore bluegrass fan who loves Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs (the early stuff!) or the Stanleys, STAY AWAY FROM THIS RECORD!If you are open to new ideas and want to try out something different, you might want to try this. Some of the tunes fit well for acoustic and bluegrass interpretation, some not so good. Anyway, if you are open-minded enough to try something new from time to time, here's a chance..."

"The musicians on this CD do a fantastic job of translating classic Eric Clapton tunes to bluegrass. While nearly all of the songs are instrumental, they are all extremely well done. I would recommend this CD to any Eric Clapton fan."
