Synopsis

Product Description
This CD marks the first Christmas recording by Contemporary Jazz guitarist Phil Sheeran. This version has a new updated cover and re-released in 2006. Known for his Brazilian-tinged instrumentals style, Phil captures the holiday spirit with Smooth Jazz styling and an upbeat twist. Tracks include a mixture of Classic Holiday songs played on solo guitar as well as a variety of acoustic instrumental duets and ensembles featuring Jazz Pianist Phil Markowitz (Toots Theleman), Italian Guitarist Andre Feriante and Flutist Richard Warner (Quiet Heart) among others. I ll be Home for Christmas is a beautifully performed album that truly stands out!

CD Reviews

What a Great Find!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I was searching for an Earl Klugh Christmas CD and while looking Phil Sheeran's name and CD came up. I was able to hear it on another site and it sounded fantastic. The site played long cuts of each song and I was disappointed when they stopped playing. It is October and this CD made me want to put the tree up. It is such a rich, smooth sound that I will probably start the season early with this CD on the top of our Christmas playlist. Buy, enjoy and have a Merry Christmas. Catherine"
