CD Reviews

Yes sir!!

"Good album. I personally liked his first better, but this is a great album, spiritually and musically. Phanatik has an amazing ability to spit the Gospel in a way that satisfies hip hop heads. Few Christian rappers have that ability.

The beats are on point, as usual. His lyrics are on point, as usual. But personally I thought his first cd sounded more passionate. His flow was "flatter" on this one.

But Phanatik is still one of the top 3 Christian rappers and my personal favorite. God bless."
Must have cd

"This CD is simply phenomenal. Cross Movement has improved steadily throughout the years, and this CD continues the trend to a further extent. History was a really good CD, in fact, the best to date in my opinion for cross movement. But, this solo CD by Phanatik exceeds my expectations. I like pretty much every song on this CD. I used to listen to all of the secular hip hop, and this album really doesn't make me miss any of the secular stuff. The song "Grown and Set Free" is simply amazing. I recommend this CD to anyone and everyone. Enjoy the beats and moreover the positive message."

"I've listen to plenty of Christian Hip Hop CD's and this one is a classic. While some might disagree (M. J. Adams "Ergon" in particular) on if the title matches up with the subject material, there is no doubt in my mind that Phanatik points ya in the direction of Christ! Since of course that is what he is trying to do...A+ fo dat. Now depending on what you grew up listening to hip-hop/rap wise...you will either think this album is on smash or you'll just find it mildly entertaining. This is DEFINITELY an East Coast or Hip Hip purist album...and one of the best I've ever heard might I add Christian or NOT! "95 degress" and "Pyramid Scheme" reflect the depth of content mixed superb lyricism. There is not one song...okay maybe one...but not many songs lack true content. Which I can really say about many albums of other artist. IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO THINK WHEN YOU LISTEN TO RAP....DON'T PURCHASE THIS ALBUM...it just ain't fo ya! If you enjoy pure mic skills DO NOT PASS GO....DOWNLOAD NOW!"
