The first cd has a an electro feeling to it while the second has deeper bases and Rauhofer's personal tribal tone. I bought it a couple of weeks after he played at a club in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I didn't give it 5 stars since I thought the first CD wasn't as good as the second. If you like this type of music, look towards CDs by Antoine Clamaran, Abel, Junior Vasquez, Brett Henrichsen, Victor Calderone, David Knapp, Eric Morillo, Tony Moran, Manny Lehman, Mike da Wizard, FC Nond, Offer Nissim, William Umana, Mike Cruz, etc.. all which play by similar style." It is a surprise to find rauhofer starting with something so strong for a change. Although disc 1 is short on vocals to brake up the monotony of the instrumentals (track 4 is a standout), the song selection is surprisingly energetic, considering all his other volumes have been sleep inducing. The real reason to get this disc is for unreleased tracks like the Rauhofer mix of Madonna (nearly 10 minutes long) and the Rauhofer mix of David Morales on disc 2, which also features a handful of strong vocal tracks.
