Great Live CD From A Truly Brilliant Guitarist!!

"Pete Haycock has got to be the most underrated guitarist of all time. From his stints as front man with the Climax Blues Band, ELO Part 2, H Factor, and on several wonderful movie soundtrack collaborations with Hans Zimmer (i.e., "Thelma & Louise" among others), his tasteful guitar has always rung true. He has also released some terrific solo studio albums over the years (most recently, "Bikers' Dozen", which is amazing!). Now, after a long absence, Pete Haycock has returned to the stage with his new band, Pete Haycock's True Blues (featuring Glen Turner), and he returns with a vengeance! There are some great versions of some familiar songs here, deliciously reworked and featuring some splendid guitar chops. Pete and Glen, accompanied by a terrific rhythm section, treat us to lots of tasty solos and this recording is the next best thing to being there. I can't recommend this CD highly enough, and I think it's the best Live album since Climax Blues Band's FM/Live... Kudos to Pete Haycock's True Blues!"
