"Swing dancers must add this CD to their collection. Pete Jacobs, the bandleader, is a lindy-hop fanatic as well as consummate jazz musician, and it shows in his choice of cuts and careful, authentic Big Band arrangements. A couple of real up-tempo jump swing numbers, but most are medium tempo (perfect to show off your styling). Includes standards like April in Paris, Opus One and a hot belting version of Bette Midler's Stuff Like That There (from the movie For The Boys) as well as some tight Andrew Sisters-style 4part vocals on the title cut, Would You Like To Dance. Yes, I would! P.S. the full name of the band is "The Wartime Radio Revue" - getting to be a fixture on the LA live swing circuit. Catch 'em at Disneyland the last Sat. of every month thru '98."

Must have for all swingin' hepcats!
