"You people out there in the know, as well as the people not aught to treat yourselves to some real classy, premium quality, miraculously played and arranged music. Jazz like you wished you heard more often. Passionate, rich toned, warm, firey, dynamic as the day is long. On the recording, Mr Christlieb employs the people in the industry whom are the selfless, most qualified and gifted musicians on the planet. They contribute to a landmark recording that runs the full gamet from quartet interplay to truley amazing big band stuff. I bought this CD a year ago and I'm still raving about it. Pete Christlieb sounds magnificant. His tenor work as well as his bass clarinet support in certain places is so complete. I really hope that another CD could be made from extras done on these recording dates. For Heavens Sake is stellar. Conti Candolli, puts on a clinic for you trumpet enthusiasts. No more name dropping, it's a very worthy purchase."
