Perry Como, the former barber of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania was thirty three years of age when when he made the Supper Club transcriptions on this CD. This being part two, the first part can be had on an earlier Sounds Of Yesteryear release. These programs, made for The Armed Forces Radio Sevice in 1945/46, highlight Perry's relaxed way of singing, his friendliness and his sense of humor. He amassed one hundred records in the charts between 1943 and 1954. He even seemed impervious to the arrival of Rock 'n' Roll because he kept on recording hits for RCA Victor right up until 1973.
