Synopsis

Album Description
2007 collection of remixes of material from the critically acclaimed album Why I Hate Women including mixes by band members David Thomas, Keith Moline and Michele Temple. . Originally intended as an internet-only Release, it is now being made released to retail outlets. Among the many stand out tracks on the disc is 'Moon, I'm Coming Home', which include elements of the tracks 'Two Girls', 'Caroleen', 'My Boyfriend's Back' and 'Synth Farm'. Keith Moline manages to mold these four songs into a prog masterpiece. The remixes found in this album are dramatic, with a great deal of chopping, folding and editing, sections from songs not included on the album and homage?s to Pere Ubu's other work on Dub Housing. Smog Veil. 2007.

CD Reviews

Fine, but...
L. Wilson | Atlanta, GA | 11/05/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"It is what it is - remixed versions of tracks from the album Why I Hate Women. But if these versions were better than the originals, I guess they would have been on the original CD.

So, this is fine for what it is, but nothing to get overly excited about. Buy if you're really into the Ubu, but don't expect to play it very much.
