CD Reviews

Worth its weight in blood, i mean, gold...
Roger I. Camara Lemarroy | monterrey, nuevo leon Mexico | 04/24/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This cd is outstanding for the following reason: It contains one the only live recordings of blood that can be easily acquired by anyone. IF you dont remember this song, it was the most aggressive-hard-rocking track off of vs... It starts out with a little rythm and funk on guitars, while the bass plays a silent riff. "spin me around/roll me over/... circus" eddies sings with a high scratchy voice... before the song breaks into the chorus that makes PJ seem like a hardrock metal band..."its my blood."
Back in the days this was also one of 2 cds that contained a live version of Yellow led better. This is a great rendition of the song, although not one of the best.
And the title track, daughter, which simply needs no introduction.
But i truly recommend this cd to any PJ fan... youll be surprised when you remember how hard they used to rock when they were filled with energy and anger...
definetly a must have....
just for "blood" its worth more than advertised..."
Great Live Cuts!!!!!

"Hey everyone, this is a great single that every PJ lover must have. Of course Daughter is a great song, but the raw live cut of Blood is incredible. If you've heard "Yellow" on the Jeremy single, then you must hear it live, Mike and Stone are awsome on this track. GET IT QUICK!"
Hail, hail

"Extraordinary, full of energy, for me - one of the best titles of Pearl jam."
