Synopsis

Product Description
Paul Williams needs no introduction to long-time fans of bluegrass music. Having started a musical career in the very early days of this genre as a member of the legendary Lonesome Pine Fiddlers, Williams went on to become a key contributor to Jimmy Martin s Sunny Mountain Boys, playing mandolin and singing tenor in Martin s best known version of his band. Along with the dynamic J.D. Crowe on banjo, this trio created some of the finest bluegrass music ever put on record.
After several years away from the music Williams returned to bluegrass in a big way, devoting his career exclusively to bluegrass gospel. In 1999 he cut his debut for Rebel Records, the classic Old Ways & Old Paths album. His new release with his band the Victory Trio marks his 12th recording for Rebel. Like on his other projects, Paul contributes several of his own songs mixed in with some old and new classics in the field by writers such as Dottie Rambo, Bill Castle and Dee Gaskin.
Paul Williams music continues to feature a positive, spirited musical & religious message.
