"This is an historic recording where the highest level of brass playing can be heard. Indeed, it is a reference for those professional and students who want an insight of style and performance practicing of how Hindemith's works should be Played. The balance between soloists and accompainment is perfect. There is another recording with the same contents,that should be checked out for pedagogical porpouses. The album (sony records) was performed by the members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Gleen Gould piano."
