Synopsis

Album Description
Australia?s EQ Recordings turns up the heat once again with the exciting 9th installment of the "Balance" DJ mix series, handcrafted to perfection by one of the hottest young stars of the global house scene, Paolo Mojo. He delivers a genre-defying, funk-infected 2CD mix of booty-shaking house, jittery techno, and every wicked groove in between, throwing some classics in for good measure. Mojo?s innovative programming and mesmeric technical ability move him effortlessly through live sets, destroying clubs the world over on the back of a relentless 2005 touring schedule. Rave reviews mark him as a genuine star for 2006 and beyond!

CD Reviews

Very surprised

"I picked up this compilation without any expectations. I mean..sure...Paolo has toured with Nic Fanciulli and I have seen a very impressive live set at Club Space in Miami, but I wasn't quite aware of his true talents.

Both discs are equally impressive and seem to bend different genres throughout. I don't even have a favorite disc since they are both pretty damned enjoyable.

Well...

"The comp serves well as a showcase of progressive music today, but it sounds the same as any renaissance comp from the last 2 yrs. Also the track "pick it up" by Alxekid is wrong. The track is actually "Don't hide it". This kind of really turned me off from really experiencing the whole thing, and most of the tracks are simply dull. I'd recomment Digweeds transitions over this. Or Fortier's balance 007."
You guys are all crazy

"This cd is a great standpoint for the new, and albeat young, generation of electronic music. Whatever your preference of music, do not let other reviewers mislead the music. Listen to it and be your own judge. Peace!"
