"With each CD released, Pamela Rose shines brighter and brighter; Wild Women of Song is no exception! Comprised of songs written by women, this CD offers well known standards, some lesser known gems, as well as intelligent, well written original tunes which you will be humming for days to come. I was captivated moments into the first song...Pamela Rose's soulful voice and sensitive interpretation lures you and takes you on a brilliant musical journey. She swings, she whispers, she teaches. Listen and learn."
If you love vocal jazz

"This newest CD from Pamela Rose ...what can I say? I started smiling from the first track. I can't seem to stop playing it! and my family members keep trying to steal it from me. If you dig vocal jazz, beautifully rendered mainstream jazz and blues, this is for you. There are so many textures to the tracks: swinging big band, Hammond Organ trios, haunting duet with guitar wizard Mimi Fox, and that great blues sound that is Rose's domain. This homage to women jazz composers is lovelingly recorded. Nifty website ([...]) too, which has old photos and bios on all the women. A real treasure!"
