The Palms Down percussion ensemble has created an exciting CD for dance and movement, using live Afro-Percussion music. From Birth to the Earth, is currently being used by teachers from the Alvin Ailey School of American Dance, Broadway Dance Center, Steps, New York Sports Club and New York University. The Palms Down Percussion Ensemble takes you on a world tour of rhythms, while remaining true to the dance class experience. The tempos range from slow and exotic, to fast and exhilarating, making it ideal for modern, tap, jazz, Afro-dance styles, yoga, aerobics and more.
