Polgar | Laguna Beach, CA | 12/28/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "A reviewer (who obviously does not appreciate the harpsichord or/and music by Soler) said these pieces were monotonous.So, I decided to buy them! Yes, I love Soler. They are among the finest examples of the composer's work. Entertaining in a more (Spanish) flavorful way...they are quite well executed and the CD is clear and produces a good sound recording. Different from other pieces by Soler, they belong in anyone's collection along with the Quintets and Sonatas by Soler. His organ pieces are quite wonderful as well and different from the usual harpsichord pieces dramatically executed on various other recordings that I appreciate but do not listen to as often."
