"OUTLAWZ

WE WANT IT

I have been patiently waiting for the Outlawz to release another album and the wait is finally over as the Lawz have returned. Now while this is not the album on Young Buck's Cashville records it is still up there with all their other albums. EDI, YOUNG NOBLE, KASTRO, and STORMEY all do their thing on this album.

1.WE WANT IT-the first track definintly comes out banging and is a great opening track. This track is all about how they want to get as much money as possible. All of the Outlawz including official member Stormey all hold it down hard on this track, and the beat from Beat Nik & K-Salaam is off the hook. This is definintly a great way to open the album, this is also a single for the album, check out the video.5/5

2.EVERYTHING HAPPENZ 4 A REASON-following a great opening track is another banger that is sure to have all listening to it bobbing their head. The Lawz hold down another great song with some great lyrical performances and a real cool hook. They borrow from mentor Pac for the chorus, you should notice from what songs easily. Aktual dropped a great instrumental for them to get down to, I would say that this song is a little better then the last and there is also a video for this track.5/5

3.FAILURE AIN'T AN OPTION-this has got to be the best song on the album with out a doubt. This should have a video have be a single because this track is off the hook. All of the Outlawz hold it down and Kaiser Sosa provided a brilliant production for this track. Definintly a classic in my eyes.5/5

4.HUNGER PAINS-Kastro's verse on this song is a part of the "WE WANT IT" video at the end so if you checked that out you will definintly recognize the first verse. Aktual returns to drop another banger for your listening pleasure, and you will definintly like this track. I don't know if it is because I have been waiting for a new Outlawz album or what but I like this song as much as the first three.4/5/5

5.LOVE OF MONEY-the Outlawz do it again with this song and keep the hit coming. This could really be another single for the album and have a great video because this is really a good song. Keion drops some nice vocals on the hook and Cosmo holds down the production nicely on this track. Of course the verses are great and every one delivers, another good song.4./5

6.THUGGIN' TILL I DIE-I love the piano that starts this track off and rides smoothly threw out the entire track. Once again this could easily be another single with a cool video Tha Nox provides a great beat that has some beautiful horns in the chorus. The beat during the verses though reminds me of another Outlawz song, I think from the "NEVA SURENDER" album but I'am not sure. Verse wise this track shines and even features C-Bo dropping a great verse.4./5

7.I'M MISTER-I absolutely love this track, the over all sound of this track is great. Boondox [not sure if it is the same guy from Psychopathic Records] really did an excellent job on the production for this song, I love the way this track sounds. All of the Outlawz come correct on this song and each one sounds great over this beat. The hook for this song is great, I love the flow provided.5/5

8.MY LIFE-finally EDI does some production on the album, and he definintly provided a knocking production. It sounds real weird and cool at the same time, I don't know how to describe it. Lyrically each member comes correct on this track and create another good song for the album.4.5/5

9.DO IT LIKE THAT-down south artist and Youngbloodz member J-Bo comes threw to not only feature on the track but provide a cool southern influenced beat for the Outlawz. Each member does his thing on this track adjusting the flow a little to fit the southern style. This is a cool song with a catchy kinda hook, over all a nice addition and change of pace.4./5

10.I CAN'T LIE- Cozmo drops a cool and smooth instrumental for the Lawz to get down to that will have you nodding your head along with. The Outlawz and Tha Pimtationz sound good on this track, this is your typical pimp gotta get money type song. Over all another good addition to the album.4./5

11.TAKE IT OFF-Cozmo returns to with an even better production then the last, he really did his thing on this one. And Keion returns to hook us up with another great hook, he sounds really good on this track. And of course the Outlawz sound great over this production along side Keion, each one drops a great verse about the ladies. I would say that this is a step up from the last track.4.5/5

12.IT'S MY TURN-the album ends with another banging track, this was a wise choice for a closer to the album. The Outlawz drop some great verses along with Maserati Rick & Nutt-So, that's right I said Nutt-So, he returns to work with the Lawz to drop a nice verse. Also Ayo really did an excellent job on production with this track, this would be another good song for a video.5/5

After a while the OUTLAWZ have finally dropped another great album, I can't wait for the Cashville release of there's.

"Back in the mid-90's 2Pac introduced us to then teenage group the Outlawz, starting off with 7 members, 2Pac and Kadafi died, Fatal left the group shortly after, the Napoleon left a few years ago, Kastro hardly does any songs any more either, so basically you just have mainly Young Noble & Edi Amin (they got Stormy on this one as well). Noble definitely been the hardest working (over the last 3 years doing albums with Edi Amin, Lil Flip, Layzie Bone, Dead Prez, and Husseing Fatal) and Edi even did albums with Young Noble and Dead Prez. On this one you get 12 songs, 1 classic, 1 I skip, 2 are ok, the other 8 are good or real good, a couple a near classics. Guests aren't too heavy, rapping on afew and doing a couple hooks. Noble is on 11 songs, Edi is on 10, Stormy is on 7 (and has 1 solo) and Kastro is only on 4 of the 12. Production is very good as well. Cozmo does 3 songs, Aktual does 2, Edi Amin, K Salaam, Self Service, Tha Nox, Boondox, Ayo and J-Bo all do 1 song. A good album and nice return for the Lawz.
