Album Description

With the national release of the Tennessee Before Daylight album under their belt and two years of national touring and collective song writing, Outformation entered the recording studio for the second time in early 2007 to record their second album Traveler?s Rest. For Outformation, recording Traveler?s Rest was a collective song writing process among band members and other musical influences. The track, Traveler?s Rest was a large collaboration between Widespread Panic?s JoJo Hermann and Outformation. Mickey Raphael from Willie Nelson plays harmonica on Winds. Digipak

"I have seen Outformation perform several times and have enjoyed their live shows. Travelers Rest is a good representation of what they do. You can defiantly tell who they have been influenced by without feeling like it's the same thing all over again. If you are a fan of bands like WSP or Gov't Mule, or you are looking for a fresh face to roots rock jam without a doubt you will like Outformantion. They are reminiscent of groups like the Band in that each member is an outstanding musician individually, but together they create something powerful."
