''This album is more independent and more mature. It comes from a concrete change that happened inside me. This album is a tale I found in my soul,'' says Otto. Backed by a stellar band, including co-producer Pupillo on drums, Dengue on bass and Catatau on guitar, Otto seamlessly blends an intoxicating mix of tropicalia, samba, folk, rock, reggae and pop, all layered with rich story lines of deep emotions and reflections. ''It's like it is my first album,'' says Otto. The album also features special guest vocalists, Grammy winner Julieta Venegas and CéU. CD ReviewsAddictive No time for bad products | Laguna Niguel, CA | 05/23/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "This album is like a good, romantic foreign film with each illustrative song and I've grown to be a big fan of Otto through this album. I absolutely enjoy getting lost in each little world he creates with his songs.
The internationally acclaimed Ceu and Julieta Venegas are featured on this album that covers an array of styles from rock to dance to samba. It's a shame not more of Otto's extremely talented works including this album is not covered much in the US. This album is truly remarkable and I highly recommend it. " |
