It is the first widely available album from the band. Endeavors showcases many different genres within the spectrum of metal. Everything from death metal to metal core, and even some sprinklings of stoner/progressive metal make appearances on this album. Orwell made a conscious decision to make Endeavors stand apart from the overcrowded metal scene by opting for memorable melodies, hooks, riffs and solos in place of break downs and a constant barrage of noise. The album is focused, yet varied enough to bring listeners from radio rock, death metal, stoner metal, and thrash metal into the same venue to enjoy the dying art of memorable songs and riffs within the extreme context that is metal.
