Be sure to buy the FULL soundtrack not this version. Edit: Okay I figured out that the USA version is missing several tracks from Altan Urag. I bought the CD for the ending credit song, called Blue Mark, but it is not on the USA version. The international version of the soundtrack is available on international versions of Amazon, but alas not here. Note that there are several versions of Blue Mark. The one from the movie is only available on the international version of the soundtrack--the version on Altan Urag's CDs is slowed down." The hunt for said soundtrack can last for days, months, or even years. Thankfully Amazon had this to preorder even though I had to wait a month, but boy was it worth it. The soundtrack opens with a powerful, tribal, gutteral, almost surreal howling of a man. Throughout the album, this sound is weaved intricately with familiar orchestral sounds and a few instruments that are as fundamental to Mongol culture as the howl itself. Not only is this male vocal repeated in other tracks, but it is joined by a similarly powerful female vocal that gives the tracks a haunting power. If you are a fan of film scores but tired of the same old from the usual composers, you must buy this album to experience the power and majesty portrayed in the music that rivals The Dark Knight."
