Not totally original.....but great sound!!!

"Lidholm can go from late Schoenberg to 4th Symphony period Henze or Roberto Gerhard at the speed of sound, but there is really nothing here that we haven't heard before. Atonal but not inaccessible, Rites is maybe the most interesting work here, with the pre-recorded tape bordering on the absurd...Lidhold's music seems to be stuck in the 60's, when it was o.k. to be absurd or even avant-garde. Not something you could listen to day after day without going completely nuts. The best part of this disc is the state of the art BIS sound, which has amazing clarity and definition...perfect for annoying the crap out of your neighbors!"
