A Restrained Soundscape of Pop

"What comes through very strongly in this album is its ambience -- sometimes mellow, sometimes folksy, sometimes almost spooky. Then, from way in the background, the poppy vocals come through as if a couple of the mellowest Beach Boys went psychadelic. Very hard to categorize, but very easy to listen to -- especially if you're the type who sometimes likes ambient music and sometimes likes pop."
