CD ReviewsFun prog-ish electronic rock C. Johnson | Saint Petersburg FL | 04/18/2007 (4 out of 5 stars) "Om Attack - Heavy Rescue is from the frontman for Beyondomatic. An 'out-there-some-where' California band. When I first heard this CD I did not know anything about the band. Many parts of this CD are 'Toungue & Cheek' songs performed with a mastery of electronics - guitars, moogs, ARP, etc., along with the standard Rock band ensemble.
Some reviewers have likened it to Peter Gabriel or Elliot Smith. I disagree with those assessments, but find myself coming back to many of the humorous lyric tracks like 'Motivated' and 'Coffee Can Superman'. Fun CD so just lighten up and enjoy!" |
