Their "All Time Best"? I Don't Think So.....
Mike Sweeney | Salisbury, MA United States | 12/30/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I like "Off Course" more than any other band I have listened to, and I have nearly every one of their CD's. I really do like this CD set a lot, but even though I like it, I am a bit disappointed at the same time. Why? Well, the main reason is because that I highly disagree with the producers of this CD that this is their "ALL TIME" best collection!

What really bugs me is the fact that most of the songs are from the 1970's through early 1980's. A lot of their good songs are from that time period, but seriously, most of their greatest hits of all time came in the mid/late 1980's. The only mid/late 1980's songs that are on here are: Natsu No Hi, Midori no Hibi, and a few other japanese titles. I don't get why are they even including some of their stuff from the late 80's anyway? I mean, most of the songs on there are good and all that, but there are far better songs by Off Course from the mid/late 80's that could've been on the CD instead of this! Some of their greatest songs that are missing are: IT'S ALL RIGHT, She's So Wonderful, Tiny Pretty Girl, Endless nights, Call, etc. Those are some of the mid/late 1980's songs that they should've included on the CD set.

The bonus DVD is very good I must admit though. It shows pictures of the band from the 1970's through the 1980's, it shows the discography/biography of OFF COURSE, and there's a bonus section where you can watch them live performing in 1982!

Overall, I would buy this CD set. However, if you have no interest in the bonus DVD and only concern about the music, then I would buy their Greatest hit box set that was made in 1998.
