The voices are all superb and the sound is great. The conception of the performance is first rate and so is the music. As I always admit I am a Purcell devotee and this is some great Purcell!As I said all the singers on this disk are wonderful, but I want to point out that the counter-tenors are very exceptional and if nothing else you should get the disk to hear their singning. Now, I could single out every one of the soloists, they are all that good, so forgive me for singling out Robin Blaze and Martin van der Zeijst."
