CD Reviews

Best Supertones Yet!
10/18/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I own all the Supertones cd's up until this point and am looking forward to hi-fi revival. I can safely say that this is the culmination of the past four albums. This cd has all the best songs that the Supertones have written so far. Plus the little things such as the energetic crowd screaming in the background and the wacky intros. The greatest thing though on this cd is the three worship songs, they're excellent! If you're to get one Supertones cd you it should be this one!"
Best live cd ever

"I don't usually like live albums because the balance between vocals and instruments is usually off or sounds strange, but this is the single best one that I've ever heard. The choice of songs was great, combining the best of all their albums with a couple praise songs, and the intensity of the audience and atmosphere adds so much. Just listening to the first song, Unite, as loud as you can is guaranteed to pump you up and the rest of the cd doesn't let you down at all. Hardcore lyrics, great music, Supertones rock!!!"
LIVE AND LOUD!!!!

"That's what this cd is and it's the way ska should be played. All the original supertone songs are awesome live and there are 17 songs. That's the most songs the tones have ever put on an album. I hated the recorded version of return of the revolution but I love the live one. Other songs played great live are unknown, strike back, and who can be against me? I was also suprised to learn that it was mixed and recorded by punk heroes Bill Stephenson and Steve Egerton. Buy this if you enjoy live albums or awesome and crazy ska."
