"One of my favorite CD's. Can't really call it acid jazz, or jazz/funk fusion... Deep, funky grooves, definite latin/latino influence (a la War), some liberal doses of schmaltz/kitch combined with fantastic musicianship. I can hear the southern california in there somewhere too... hard to explain. Never been more happy with an impulse music buy in the last 5 years, that's for sure. Could not recommend this highly enough for anyone who likes to dance to their music."

"I finally got my own 00 Soul c.d and it's great!.... I first heard this band on Bluetourch T.V. then, had a chance to check them out live while in San Francisco and was blown away."

"Not many funk bands can bring their studio albums to the same exciting climaxes as their live shows, but 00-Soul does! I picked this album up in a used store, based on a comparison to Brooklyn Funk Essentials. WOW. If funk is your thing, along with jazz influence and master musicianship, check this one out."
