The most divine album of all time!

"This is no doubt my absolute favourite collection. Bjoerling was not only the greatest tenor of the Golden Age, but probably one of the greatest in recording history! His timbre is sweetly penetrating, with the power and range of Caruso, but with a beauty completely out of the Caruso realm. His high notes are the most pure and heartwarming, his technique flawless, and his dramatics, although controlled, are very convincing. If you have not heard Bjoerling, this is an excellent first album to buy. He sings some of the most incredible arias in the tenor repertoire, and especially in the piano accompanied ones, brings something new to them as well. Listening to Bjoerling is an experience. Just beware. Once you discover him, you'll never be able to listen to another tenor again!"
