"The Norrbotten Big Band has an excellent and richly textured sound. I especially enjoyed "Discovering Norrbotten" and the introductory playing of the talented sax player and flutist Mats Garberg. "Discovering Norrbotten" makes one feel as if he/she has actually visited this area of Northern Sweden. Flutists would also truly enjoy "Waking Iris". "Noogaloo" is vibrant and the whole CD should be purchased!"
